Psalm 92
July 16, 2026
It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
2 to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
and your faithfulness by night,
3 to the music of the lute and the harp,
to the melody of the lyre.
4 For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work;
at the works of your hands I sing for joy.

Prayer: Our God in heaven, we give you thanks for providing us one day in seven when we gather with other brothers and sisters to praise your Name. We thank you for compelling us to do so because of the teachings stated in your Word and the works your hands have done in rescuing us from the misery of sin and placing us on the solid Rock which is Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Our Father, it is with great thanks and love that we bow before your presence today to adore you and praise your glorious name. You have given us this day, the queen of days, to feed our souls with your presence and Word. It is good, indeed, to give thanks to you in a world of misery and ruin. It is indeed good and refreshing to come to you to praise you in a world full of complaining and griping.
