The Morning Devotional: Psalm 54
Prayer: Our God in heaven, you who see and know all things, be merciful to us and help us because we often find ourselves opposed by evil and wicked people. Indeed, our culture is antithetical to you and your Word. It promotes evil and violence; it calls good what you call wicked. It calls wicked what you call good. We know that salvation can only come from your hand, because it is in you that we live and move and have our being. You are the giver and sustainer of life. Our lives, therefore, are in your hands.
