The Daily Prayer: Psalm 68:1-3

The Morning Devotional: Psalm 68:1-3

Prayer: Our God, you alone are the Almighty and sovereign over all things you have made. You alone act wisely, according to your divine will and perfect wisdom in the affairs of men. You act graciously towards your redeemed people, who are the apple of your eye and the prize of your beloved Son. Though you have saved us and placed us on the solid rock, which is Christ, you have purposed to leave us in this sin-wrecked world as your servants and ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ. As such, we find that we are often attacked by those who hate you. We see the opposition of all that you call good and right. We see people who hate you and your Word calling evil good and good, evil. We know they will come to an end. We know that the days of exalting themselves will soon perish as wax melts before the flame. We thank you, our God, for your care and protection in this world. We thank you for saving us through the righteousness of Christ. For that, we can praise you and find true joy in a godless world. Please continue to bless us and help us, we pray and ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
