The Morning Devotional: Psalm 65

Prayer: Praise is due to you, our God, because you have redeemed us through the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the fullness of time, you sent forth your Son, born of a woman, made in the likeness of man, to rescue us through all he suffered for our sake. He alone is the perfect Lamb, slain before the foundation of the world, and in him we have hope, knowing that our iniquities are cast into the deepest ocean and separated as far as the East is from the West. We praise you for your wonderful work in redeeming your world and restoring it to that place you called good; that place before sin wrecked all of it. We thank you for the hope and the glory of the New Heavens and New Earth. WE come to you today to praise you and pay our debt to you as we seek to live our lives according to your Word. We do so because you love us and we love you. We pray for your help. Remind us, Father, of your kindness and grace and turn us each day in your ways. Forgive us when we stray. Help us to honor you in thought, word, and deed, we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
