The Daily Prayer for the Lord's Day: May 24, 2026

Prayer: Our God, it is good for us to hear your invitation to come to the house of the Lord so we can praise and honor your great name with our brothers and sisters that you have redeemed through the work of Jesus Christ. We know that you have no need of our worship. In fact, you have no need for anything. You are the self-sufficient God of heaven and earth. You alone made all things in the space of six days. You made us in your image to worship and honor you. We need you, our God. Without you, our souls are restless. Without you, we have no hope at all. Without you, we cannot do what we were made to do. We thank you for giving us this small picture of glory when we will worship you with the myriads of your people and the holy angels. Please meet with us and bless us today, our God. Please speak to us. Please cause us to hear and do what we hear. Please pour out your Spirit on us, and may you be pleased with our weak effort to honor you as you deserve. We pray these things through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
