Each conference attendee will receive:

* A coffee mug with the church logo and name.
* A book (title to be determined).
* A detailed study guide for use during the lectures, small groups, and further study. 

Pre-conference fellowship (8:30-9)

* Coffee, tea, other drinks.
* Bagels and donuts, fruit

TOPICS and SUBTOPICS
(Subject to change. Rev. William F. Hill, Jr., the pastor of Providence Presbyterian Church, will lead the lectures)

Session One: Worship to the Glory of God (9-9:45 AM)

* Biblical examination and examples.

* Why the Lord's Day?

* What is the focus and goal?

* Why two services? A biblical defense of morning and evening worship. 

Session Two: Liturgy to the Glory of God (10:30-10:45 AM)

* Historical liturgies (i.e., order of services) focusing on the Reformation period, especially focusing on Calvin's Geneva.

* Elements and circumstances of worship.

* Reformed worship: The Regulative Principle of Worship.

LUNCH: 11:45-1: Food to be determined

Session Three: Singing to the Glory of God (1:-1:45 PM)

* Biblical examination and examples.

* Why should the church sing?

* What should the church sing?

Session Four: Listening to the Glory of God (2:30-3:15 PM)

* What is preaching? A Biblical examination and survey.

* Who should preach? The confessional view.

* How does preaching differ from mere teaching?

* Why is preaching the primary means of grace?

Session Five: Questions and answers based on the discussion groups. (4-4:30 PM)

~ Breakout Sessions (sample of discussion points. These breakout sessions will be done in small groups. ~

Session One: List the objectives of the abiding quality and mandate of the Lord's Day. Give a biblical response; List the reasons we worship on the Lord's Day; List the objections to a second worship service and construct biblical rebuttals. (9:45-10:15)

Session Two: Write a reformed order of worship and make a biblical argument for each; discuss the biblical defense of the Regulative Principle of Worship. (11:15-11:45)

LUNCH: 11:45-1

Session Three: Choose one of the following examples of singing found in Scripture (the list will be given on the day of the conference) and evaluate the context and song; Discuss and evaluate the issue of exclusive psalmody and inclusive psalmody (pros and cons). (1:45-2:15)

Session Four: Write a definition of preaching and substantiate it from the Bible; Discuss how you can improve your listening to sermons and how you can benefit from them. (3:15-3:45)
