The Morning Devotional: Psalm 103
Prayer: Our God in heaven, we have read your Word, and we can see the importance of praising and blessing your great and wonderful Name. You are our God, and there is no other. You alone have given us great things and poured out your blessings upon us. You have healed us from the disease of sin as a merciful and gracious God. You have separated our sin as far as the east is from the west. You have buried our sin, and you remember it no more. You have saved us and adopted us as your children. You renew our strength and sustain us when we are weak. You show us compassion as a loving Father, and you know us better than we know ourselves. You are good to us; therefore, we bless and praise you this day because of all your blessings and benefits poured out on poor creatures of dust. Please help us to live to your glory as we reflect on your kindness. Please grant us willing hearts and minds to give you all the praise for all accomplishments we make in this life. Please help us to trust you and turn to you in times of struggle, knowing that you will help us. Forgive us for those times we forget you and your blessings and help us, by your Spirit, to look to you as our God who loves us now and forevermore. We pray these things through Christ our Lord. Amen.
