Minister: As we gather before our holy God, let us now humble ourselves, praying together:
All: Our God in heaven, we have heard your perfect law read this morning, and we are reminded how far short we fall from your commands. We know that we sin daily in thought, word, and deed. We know that we do not love you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Though you have redeemed us to walk in your obedience, we confess that we wander and stray.
