The suffering servant of Jehovah who was crushed for our redemption
Corporate Confession of Sin
Rev. William F. Hill, Jr.
Minister: As we gather before our holy God, let us now humble ourselves, praying together:
All: Our great God in heaven: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we bless your name this morning because you have done great things for your people. It pleased you to crush your only-begotten Son and, in so doing, redeem a people to yourself. You have demonstrated your love to us in offering your Son as a sacrifice for our sin. Yet, the Lord Jesus did not remain in that grave. He is alive! He is at your right hand. He ministers still for his people. Forgive us for not humbling ourselves before the King of King and Lord of Lords with every fiber of our being. We mourn our sin and are ashamed at how cold we often are toward you. Please grant us a greater willingness and stronger affection for all that our Lord suffered for our sake. We pray these things in His Name. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon Rev. William F. Hill, Jr.

Confession of Faith The Apostles’ Creed
Rev. William F. Hill, Jr.
Minister: Congregation, what is it that you believe?
All: I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary;
suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit;
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen
§Hymn Christ is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!
Pastoral Prayer and Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
