Praying for the Local Church

o Pray for fruit to come from the preaching of the Word of God.

o Please pray that we would be a congregation committed to the glory of God (WSC Q1; 1 Cor. 10:31); that we would grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Pet. 3:18)

· Pray for the Lord to provide gifted elders and deacons in the church.

o Pray for the building search committee.

o Churches without a pastor (Westminster-Vincennes and Grace - Carbondale)
o Westminster: A possible pastoral candidate will be in Vincennes this weekend.
· The Presbyterian Church in America
· Our families:
o Pray for those who are diligently laboring to teach their children the WSC.
o Pray for godly families.
o Pray for our covenant children.
o Pray for the conversion of our unsaved family members.
Praying for the Needs of the Saints and the World
· The persecuted church and our brothers and sisters abroad.

o The POTUS and his cabinet

o Congress
· The church in the USA: revival, and repentance.
· Pray for the Sireci’s as they are expecting their second child.
· The Riley’s request prayer for their cousin, Cindy Rasure.
· David Matzen requests prayer for his son (job) and daughter (health issues); friend (David) who is having health issues and the doctors are struggling to help. David is currently traveling and visiting family in Michigan.
· Kay Keller reports that one member of her family and son that we prayed for is doing much better.
· The Scroggins request prayer for Breanna on a medical issue.
· Dr. and Mrs. Long request prayer for the family of their son-in-law (David Shelden): His sister passed away on Sat. from COVID-19. Her husband is hospitalized with COVID and pneumonia, but recovering. Dr. and Mrs. Long will be traveling and away from the area for the next three weeks or so.
