Psalm 100 (Responsive)
Minister: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!
All: Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Minister: Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!
All: For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations. Amen!

All People That on Earth Do Dwell #100B

Scripture Lesson                                                    Deuteronomy 5:1-21
The moral law of God tells us what we must believe and obey.

Corporate Confession of Sin

Minister: As we gather before our holy God, let us now humble ourselves and confess our sin before him praying together:

All: Our God in heaven, the alone creator of all things, we praise you and honor you today because you are good. You have given us your moral law, and it tells your redeemed people how to live. Forgive us for breaking these commands. Forgive us for failing to love you with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. Please give us the Holy Spirit in abundance so we may live as holy as possible for sinners. We pray these things in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, your beloved Son, and our Savior. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon
John 10:27-28

Minister: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

All: Amen

Confession of Faith                                              The Apostles’ Creed

Minister: Congregation, what is it that you believe?

All: I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary;
suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirt;
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen

Pastoral Prayer and Lord's Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
