WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
§CALL TO WORSHIP
Isaiah 6:1-3
Minister: In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said:“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!”
All: Amen.

CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN
Minister: As we have heard God’s Word read, let us humble ourselves before him, confessing our sins, praying:
All: Our great and holy God, we praise your name today because you have given us your one and only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. As we behold his majesty and beauty, we stand in awe of him. He did not cast us off but, instead, condescended to rescue poor creatures of dust. Like the psalmist, we are reminded that our sins are never far from us. Yet, through Christ, you quickly forgive us. We thank you for so great a salvation and ask that you, by your Spirit, would help us to walk worthy of that calling which we received by grace alone, through faith alone, because of Christ alone, all to the praise of your glory. These things we pray in the Savior’s name. Amen
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Psalm 145:8-9
Minister:
The Lord is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
The Lord is good to all,
and his mercy is over all that he has made.
All: Amen.
