Psalm 100
Minister: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!

                   Serve the Lord with gladness!

                  Come into his presence with singing!

All: Know that the Lord, he is God!

                 It is he who made us, and we are his;[a]

                 we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Minister: Enter his gates with thanksgiving,

                    and his courts with praise!

                   Give thanks to him; bless his name!

All: For the Lord is good;

           his steadfast love endures forever,

          and his faithfulness to all generations.

All: Amen.

All People That on Earth Do Dwell #100B

Scripture Lesson                                                                          Psalm 110
The Lord Jesus Christ is the King who will rule and reign for his people.

Corporate Confession of Sin

Minister: As we gather before our holy God, let us now humble ourselves, praying together:

All: Our merciful and mighty God, we praise your name today because you have appointed a good and faithful King to rule and reign over us. In his grace, he subdued us to himself. Though we belong to him and have been called to walk worthy of that calling, we stray, and we sin. Forgive us, Father. Please help us, by your Spirit, to remember our King and find shelter and help in him. We pray these things in the name of the King of Kings, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon
Isaiah 55:6, 7

Minister: “Seek the Lord while he may be found;

    call upon him while he is near;

let the wicked forsake his way,

    and the unrighteous man his thoughts;

let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,

    and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

All: Amen.

Pastoral Prayer and Lord's Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
