CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN

All: Grant, almighty God, that we, as your redeemed and eternally loved people, would strive through all the means you have given to us to love and serve you as you have commanded. We confess that we do not always use those gifts and graces for your glory. Too often, we squander them and bring shame to you. In that, we are like the wicked and slothful servant who did not use the gifts given to him. Please forgive us, Lord, for not using the gift of service to the poor and needy of our world. Forgive us for thinking too much about our own lives and not the lives of others. Please grant us more of your Spirit that we would obey you with joy and gratitude we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen
