For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared,

He chose our heritage for us,
the pride of Jacob whom he loves.

God has gone up with a shout,
the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

For God is the King of all the earth;

God reigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.

The princes of the peoples gather

CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN
All: Our Father, we thank you that you are a God who is pleased to forgive sin. We have heard your Word read today and know that it can discern the thoughts and intentions of our hearts. We confess that we sometimes judge wrongly and treat others the way we would not want to be treated. Forgive us, Father. Please help us to hear your Word and joyfully obey. These things we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
