CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN
All: Our God in heaven, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we thank you for your Word and for your commands that are given to us to guide us and help us. We know that they are perfect, restoring the soul and a means to guide us as we pilgrim through this world. As we have heard it read, we are reminded that we fall short of your demands, and we are further reminded that we are in great need of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We have not perfectly obeyed the demands of your Word this week. We have fallen short of it in thought, word, and deed. We sometimes murder others in our hearts, and we have not guarded our thoughts and remained pure before you. Forgive us, Father. Please help us and grant us more of your Spirit who renews our minds through your Word we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.

and his mercy is over all that he has made.
All: Amen.
