§Call to Worship
Psalm 84:1-2
Minister:
How lovely is your dwelling place,
O Lord of hosts!
My soul longs, yes, faints
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and flesh sing for joy
to the living God.
All: Amen.

§Hymn All Glory Be to Thee, Most High #208
Scripture Lesson Ephesians 5:1-16
Mr. David Matzen (Ruling Elder Candidate)
Redeem the time because the days are evil.
Corporate Confession of Sin
All: Our Father, you alone are holy, and we are sinful. We fall short of your glory each day in thought, word, and deed. We are ashamed at how easily we turn aside to worthless things, and we grieve at our weakness when it comes to redeeming the time. We know your Word tells us to number our days and be careful how we live. Yet, we fall short and sin against you. We thank you that you have given us a Redeemer – the Lord Jesus Christ – who did what we can never do: obey you perfectly. Please grant us willing hearts and minds to follow you all of our days we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
Romans 5:1
Minister: Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
All: Amen.
