Grant to us a knowledge of your lovingkindness that whatever befalls us as your people is ordered by you to produce in us a likeness and conformity to your beloved Son. Please show us your favor in fulfilling your promise to use the trials of our lives to renew your image in us. Forgive us when we strive against your providence and complain about our circumstances.
