Call to Worship
Psalm 96:1-4
Oh sing to the Lord a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth!
Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!
For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above all gods.

§Hymn The God of Abraham Praise #234
Scripture Lesson Revelation 4
Corporate Confession of Sin
Minister: My brethren, let each of you present himself before the face of the Lord, and confess his faults and sins, praying together with me:
All: Almighty God and merciful Father, we bow before your today as your people and the sheep of your pasture. We have come to praise you and worship you. Yet, as we come, we come as creatures of dust, weak and miserable due to the effects of sin in this world. Forgive us for failing to declare your greatness in the world with our words and our lives. Help us to do what you have commanded out of love for you. Thank you for forgiving us through Christ in whose name we pray. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
Titus 3:4-7
Minister: But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
All: Amen
Confession of Faith Westminster Larger Catechism Q184-186
Minister: Q. 184. For what things are we to pray?
A. We are to pray for all things tending to the glory of God, the welfare of the church, our own or others' good; but not for anything that is unlawful.
Minister: Q. 185. How are we to pray?
A. We are to pray with an awful apprehension of the majesty of God, and deep sense of our own unworthiness, necessities, and sins; with penitent, thankful, and enlarged hearts; with understanding, faith, sincerity, fervency, love, and perseverance, waiting upon him, with humble submission to his will.
Pastoral Prayer and Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Minister: Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
All: Come quickly, Lord Jesus. Amen!
