Scripture Lesson Psalm 102
Corporate Confession of Sin
Minister: My brethren, let each of you present himself before the face of the Lord, and confess his faults and sins, praying together with me:
All: Our most holy God and Father, we bend the knee before your majesty today to give you our honor and praise. You alone are God, and there is no other. We confess our tendency to anxiety and worry in the days in which we live. We know that you are sovereign and order all things for the good and care of your church. Forgive us for doubting you and grant to us a greater desire to trust you with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We pray these things in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
John 10:27-29
Minister: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
All: Amen
Confession of Faith The Apostles’ Creed
Minister: Congregation, what is it that you believe?
All:
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary;
suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirt;
the holy catholic(1) church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen
(1) The term “catholic” means universal.
Pastoral Prayer and Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

All: Come quickly, Lord Jesus. Amen!
