Call to Worship
Psalm 87:1-3 (Responsively)
Minister: On the holy mount stands the city he founded; the Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob.
All: Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God.
All: Amen.

The Lord is our God from everlasting to everlasting

Corporate Confession of Sin

Minister: As we gather before our holy God, let us now humble ourselves, praying together:

All: Our God and Father in heaven, we praise your name because you are our God, and there is no other. We thank you that you have guarded our days and cared for us throughout our lives. We are thankful that we have a loving Father who watches over us. We confess that we sometimes forget to live our lives faithfully before you. Forgive us, and help us to strive to honor you with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We pray this in the name of our glorious Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon
Jeremiah 31:33-34

Minister: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

All: Amen.

Confession of Faith       Westminster Confession of Faith, 16.1-2
Mr. Mason Scroggins, Ruling Elder

Minister: Congregation, what does God’s Word teach us regarding good works?
All: Good works are only such as God hath commanded in his holy Word, and not such as, without the warrant thereof, are devised by men, out of blind zeal, or upon any pretense of good intention.

These good works, done in obedience to God's commandments, are the fruits and evidences of a true and lively faith: and by them believers manifest their thankfulness, strengthen their assurance, edify their brethren, adorn the profession of the gospel, stop the mouths of the adversaries, and glorify God, whose workmanship they are, created in Christ Jesus thereunto, that, having their fruit unto holiness, they may have the end, eternal life.

All: Amen.

Pastoral Prayer and Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
