Praying for the Local Church
· Worship.
· Preaching:
o Preparation for the pastor each week.
o Pray for fruit to come from the preaching of the Word of God.

o Please pray for ten new families/individuals to join us this year.
o Please pray that we would be a congregation committed to the glory of God (WSC Q1; 1 Cor. 10:31); that we would grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Pet. 3:18)

· Pray for the Lord to provide gifted elders and deacons in the church.

o Pray for the building search committee.

o Churches without a pastor.
o Westminster: The church will host their pastoral candidate this weekend and vote next weekend at a called congregational meeting. Pastor Hill will be moderating that meeting.
· The Presbyterian Church in America
· Our families:
o Pray for those who are diligently laboring to teach their children the WSC.
o Pray for godly families.
o Pray for our covenant children.
o Pray for the conversion of our unsaved family members.
Praying for the Needs of the Saints and the World
· The persecuted church and our brothers and sisters abroad.
o Afghanistan – many home churches and Christians are under imminent threat.
o Sudan
· Pray for those impacted by COVID-19 and the Delta variant.
· Pray for our brothers and sisters impacted by Hurricane Ida

o Congress
· The church in the USA: revival; repentance.
· Pray for the Sept. 12th congregational meeting.
· Pray for the Sireci’s as they are expecting their second child.
· David Matzen requests prayer for his son (job) and daughter (health issues); friend (David) who is having health issues and the doctors are struggling to help. He reports that his daughter (Amy) has a medical condition that can be treated.
· Wendy Spencer requests prayer for Madalyn. She was tested for learning disabilities. Please pray she finds the help she needs to succeed.
· Pray for Tereasa Isbell as she travels with family to Germany.
· Stephen Dickinson requests prayer for his father-in-law (Kenny) as he is undergoing a psychiatric episodes.
· Pray for Madeline Jaebker who has been struggling with illness.
· Pray for Mason Scroggins as he leads the adult Sunday school from Sept. 5- Oct. 10.
· Wendy Spencer requests prayer as she enters training in a new nursing field (surgical admission).
· Jenna Riley reports that her friend’s great aunt passed away yesterday.
