~WORSHIP IN PRAISE~

§CALL TO WORSHIP
Psalm 95:1-7 (Responsively)
Minister:
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
All:
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
Minister:
For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
All:
In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his also.
Minister:
The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.
All:
Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture,
and the sheep of his hand.
All: Amen!

CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN
All: Our most holy and wise God, you who have redeemed your people and brought them from darkness into your marvelous light, we praise you and thank you for so great a salvation. Through your beloved Son, we have the hope of your comfort and grace. Through his work alone, we pray and confess our sins before you knowing that you are pleased to forgive us. We confess our weakness in prayer. We confess our prayerless prayers. We confess that we do not pray as often as we should. We fall short, but we have a great Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, holy Father, please help us plead with you, thanking you and praising you for who you are and what you are doing. Thank you for forgiving us and cleansing us from all unrighteousness we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON
1 John 2:1-2
Minister:
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
All: Amen.
