CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN
All: Our God in heaven: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we thank you and praise you for your mighty work in giving us our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Through him, we have forgiveness of sin and peace with you. Though we are your children, we know that we are creatures of dust. We confess our transgressions and sin and our lack of perfect devotion to you. Please forgive us, Father. Please grant to us the Eternal Spirit that we would do what you command we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON
John 10:27-29

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

Q. 14. What is sin?
A. Sin is any want of conformity unto, or transgression of, the law of God.

Q. 85. What doth God require of us, that we may escape his wrath and curse, due to us for sin?
A. To escape the wrath and curse of God, due to us for sin, God requireth of us faith in Jesus Christ, repentance unto life, with the diligent use of all the outward means whereby Christ communicateth to us the benefits of redemption.

Q. 86. What is faith in Jesus Christ?
A. Faith in Jesus Christ is a saving grace, whereby we receive and rest upon him alone for salvation, as he is offered to us in the gospel.
